“ My 30lb chow chow pit mix has had a rough history with nail trims. Our original groomer did her nails for a while, before saying that my dog was too much and I should just "walk her on pavement." There were a few other experience, before we let our vet try doing her nails with having her on multiple sedatives. Her nails got trimmed, but I hated giving her the meds and I knew she didn't like it either. Thankfully I found Woof Houze and Gabby shortly after that. We've been working with Gabby for 7 weeks now. She's been so kind and patient, while working to build trust with my dog. The lodge visits have been essential, as it's allowed my dog time to become familiar with Gabby, the other trainers, and the environment. After the first couple of visits, my dog was always so excited to see Gabby and always looked absolutely happy when I picked her up. This week she allowed Gabby to do a full nail trim! It feels like such a relief to have had the support of Woof Houze in working with her in a force free and sedative free approach. I also am certain that my dog loves the half-day lodge experience where she gets to do enrichment activities, play with other dogs, and snuggle with Gabby and Andre. My dog is slow to warm up to new dogs, but they did great at introducing her to the other dogs and giving her quiet areas she could go to when she didn't want to be around the other dogs at the beginning. I really trust that they are paying attention to her body language and keeping her best interest in mind. Adia has also been so supportive. She was patient and answered all of my questions upfront. She's helped me learn the system that is used to book appointments. One week I had a scheduling hiccup, but we were able to work through it. The quality of the communication received from Adia and her team is far beyond what you'd receive at a more run of the mill grooming or training facility. ”

“ Our experience at Woof Houze has been nothing short of amazing. I sought out training for our 4 year old pit mix, Ella, due to aggressive/reactive behaviors towards other dogs after being attacked at a dog park. Ella means the world to me and seeing her suffer the anxiety and trauma-related reactivity was heartbreaking and extremely stressful/anxiety provoking for myself. We started training with Adia (who is LOVELY) and through her knowledge and expertise, Ella was able to make leaps and bounds towards her goal of being able to interact with dogs in a safe way. Adia taught me that MY anxiety needed to be addressed in addition, as Ella’s reactions fed off of the stress I was producing when she was around other dogs. I am so pleased to say that Ella is now able to attend their Play Care on a weekly basis. She wears a muzzle in the beginning to help her ease into the environment but has been able to take it off and have positive interactions with some of the other dogs. As Adia has taught me, Ella may not get along with every single dog there but the staff does an amazing job of reading the dog’s behaviors and managing interactions and providing safe space for each dog to enjoy the time they have. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone who is struggling with their dog’s behavior, especially if they struggle with aggression, as many other training facilities around here do not have the ability or expertise to really do effective work with those types of behaviors. It is a financial investment, but definitely worth it as long as you are committed to make it work. Thank you so much for all that you do!! I have added some pictures of Ella at Play Care:) ”

“ I can’t say enough good things about Woof Houze and the incredible care they provide. From the moment we walk in, the owner, Adia, and her team make us feel like family. They genuinely care about my dog, Purple, just as much as I do. She gets so excited when we pull up to the play care center, which tells me everything I need to know about how much she enjoys her time there. Woof Houze’s play care curriculum is unmatched. The socialization, enrichment activities, and training Purple receives during the day leave her happily exhausted. I’ve looked into other daycares in the area, and nothing compares to the level of engagement and attention Woof Houze provides. Safety and security are top priorities here. The staff follows strict protocols consistently, giving me peace of mind that Purple is in good hands. It’s clear that everyone on Adia’s team takes immense pride in doing right by the dogs in their care. They don’t cut corners, and they’re fully dedicated to the well-being of every pup. Purple has also done private training with Woof Houze, and I know it was worth every penny. The knowledge, dedication, and insight that Adia and her team bring to their training are remarkable. They don’t just focus on obedience; they understand dogs from a scientific and instinctual perspective, from nutrition to natural behaviors. I loved that whatever Purple needed during her trainings we were able to address and work on even down to helping her out with her nutrition, which in turn helped her out with her allergies. Purple went from a scared dog out in public to a confident, and curious dog in such a short time. They honor a dog’s nature rather than trying to suppress it, and Purple has become a more balanced, happy dog because of it. I also love that they do not use any type of harmful devices or tactics in order to train your dog so they receive correction and positive reinforcement versus shock collars and other hurtful training methods. The Woof Houze facility is state-of-the-art. From the sanitary outdoor turf to the pool where Purple can swim, they’ve spared no expense in creating the ultimate experience for dogs. The love and care Purple receives from everyone there truly makes this place special. If, like me, you’re hesitant to trust just anyone with your pup, I can’t recommend Woof Houze highly enough. They treat your dog like family, and I would recommend them 1,000 times over. This isn’t just a business to them—it’s their passion, and it shows in every aspect. Thank you, Woof Houze, for everything you’ve done for Purple and me! We are so grateful to have found you guys! ”

“ Woof Houze is unique and there isn't another canine facility like it in our community. My pups have been going there for over one year, have received training, and go once day weekly for puppy day care. They are not kept in crates, rather, they get to run around and play with their friends and be puppies. Yes, they really do have friends there and are always very excited to get through the door in the am for the next experiences that await them. I know my pups are well cared for and are in a safe environment. They also live the staff. It is like having kids Beck in elementary school again as there is a schedule, they get reinforced training, treats, meals, and can even participate in extra curricular activities. It is a fear-free environment. ”

“ Woof Houze is an awesome environment with carefully designed dog/person bond work & understanding & dog needs centric training. Thoughtful accommodations are made for all types of dogs and their humans. Everything you could ever need from awesome positive training to behavioral modification training, to socialization play to nutrition support. My dog Marnie has some special needs and she is so at home and loved at Woof Houze! Really feel welcome and supported. Adia & Andre is wonderful and like part of our family. Thank you for everything! ”

“ We highly recommend working with Adia and the services Woof Houze has to offer.  Her commitment and passion for dogs as well as her expertise made our (I, my husband, and at times, our school age Grandson) dog training engaging, enjoyable and successful.  Her depth of knowledge and experience in a wide range of training/behavioral situations proved to be a great match for Iggy, our 2 yr old Dachshund. She taught us much more than just sit and stay, but educated us about the behaviors and nutritional well-being of dogs as well as our responsibility and consistency to/for Iggy. We chose the in home training, which worked best for our family schedule, because that was an area of concern for us. She made dog training in our home exactly what we expected. Adia is attentive and extremely responsive to any questions we've asked before, during or after training sessions. She met us on our terms and grew us from there, which resulted in a healthier/obedient dog; as well as; gradually guiding us to be better attentive dog owners. It was a pleasure to work with Adia! -The Clark Family ”

“ Woof Houze changed my dog's life. We pulled Watson from the shelter a couple of years ago. He started showing signs of anxiety and fear aggression towards people, along with compulsive behaviors. We hired a trainer and all they did was make him more anxious and fearful, and we had to stop and bail on the remainder of the package. AB Wellness in Fairfax recommended Woof Houze so we gave them a call. Adia was incredibly patient with Watson, working to gain his trust first and foremost, then gradually introducing other trainers from Woof Houze. Once they were confident, we started sending him to playcare twice a week. This was about a year ago. We were invited to bring Watson to the open house for their new location this past weekend, and that is why I'm writing this review. Watson - the scared dog that someone tossed away on the side of the road two years ago, the dog who we were afraid to let get anywhere near other people - was running around the play yard, playing with other dogs and letting strangers pet him! We still have a lot of work ahead of us but Adia (and Olive and the rest of the team) have done an amazing job of letting Watson know that he's safe, he's loved, and life is good. There is no one I would trust more with ANY dog. ”

“ Adia and the entire Woof Houze crew have been so amazing. Adia started training with Koopa when he was just a little guy, and now at 8 months we have seen MAJOR progress. She includes the whole family in the training, even our older pups, which is so important. She’s been flexible with our schedules has great pricing especially for our area and is so responsive. We love working with her! ”
